Great music all over the world
*From Timbuktu to,* *The steps of Ulan Bator,* *He couldn’t go farther,* *From Timbuktu all,* *The way to Kalamazoo,* *Did he her pursue,* *And when he caught her,* *He did not know what to do,* *Or what he oughter,* *Such was his shame,* *Not her language he knew,* *Taming her flame,* *No need for speech though,* *With skill playing the flute,* *She, was not mute,* *From cradle calm,* *It rose to her tune,* *Soon made her swoon,* *Playing nightly they’d,* *Rock the moon, high in June,* *With a new tune,* *Looking for a lift,* *Music is such a great gift,* *All lovers would know,* *From Timbuktu to,* *Ulan Bator’ Kalamazoo,* *When lovers do woo* *©Jasmin Horst E.P. Very musical and a humorous whimsy, too, Jasmin. Is it autobiographical?
I don't know why, but something about it conjours up this image of Groucho Marx pursuing plump girls, very soothing to me. But you got it right, where ever new humans land among the local populace they show the capacity to get to the romance, music and reproduction (if fortunately that's all they do without rape and mayhem) despite language barriers------Jerry
