Really, and, you think your true ,
When fear is driving you,
Let’s just suppose that God he said,
You do good, I sent you to hell instead,
Let us say you lack instructions
Or that common sense deduction,
You ask yourself what I will do,
Your true self to be true ,
An unknown voice you hear,
A voice that’s’ full of fear,
Deep within someone talks to you,
Make sure your choice is true ,
That book that you forever read,
Your karma when you’re dead,
If, and only willingly you do,
What you know yourself is true ,
A lie in heaven does not fly,
No matter how you did or why,
If out of fear of moral truth forbade,
Yourself to stop to kill or hate,
You felt it wrong no matter what,
And stood your ground all other truth forgot,
Let us suppose that wrong you where,
But your integrity you swear,
Who would condemn such noble being?
That not from his fear is fleeing?
Of ignorance we do not speak,
If enlightenment you seek,
But trying is your testament,
When you reach that final end,
Trying to do what’s best and right,
Not by way of fear or freight,
Just because your truth demands,
Not sitting on your hands,
Don’t deny that you do know,
What good or evil you can sow,
Nor books you need to read or fudge,
And only by this book your God will judge,
Those children that without your ink,
Just like you with God will link,
And do what mother natures children do,
Be it for their God, or be it Manitou,
You are not, although you think,
God’s only player in the rink,
All have moral rules and suasions,
And play as best they can their stations,
Solid as a rock you stand you think in Gods domain,
Don’t be too sure to lay such claim,
And if worse if fear of failures sin,
Your guarantee to get you in,
If by heart a murderer or thief,
You think you find relief,
Behaving out of fear,
To heaven you get near,
Rather would I think that those,
Have such inclinations chose,
To change themselves for better cause,
Their inner soul; I am sure, their God will them applause!

There is nothing we can do to alter our state of being, IMHO and of my belief, but to clothe ourselves daily with his Robe, and that is the essence of Salvation by Grace. All other attempts to Salvation by works, will inevitably fail, and life will be burdensome, for some too much to bear.
Romans is a Good book to study, Zechariah 3.9 another good verse..

The best lesson is the thief at Calvary, who can no longer go down from that cross TO DO anything to save himself, only the PROMISE of Jesus Christ that "today you will be with Me in Paradise."

yet the WORD of God is there to see.
Not out of fear or fright (or greed)
If we all lived like that, what a wondrous world it could be.
When God made man, Adam came with an instruction book that the schmuck went and lost because he was mesmerized by Eva's nudity. Should we then, in front of a judging God say, "we are not guilty, that moron Adam lost your instructions, we only followed order, which? beats me, go ask Adam!"
