From towers high he cries,
Terrorists he says they are,
With poison brush he them does tar,
To make legitimate his spying eyes,
I thought what kind and thoughtful man,
Would not try to help,
A creature if he could or can,
To soothe a pooches yelp,
If a kitten, horse or mouse,
Or any other hurt by man,
Encourage those to help espouse,
When ever they could help or can,
If abuse of any creature small or tall,
Young or old brings condemnation,
Millions now confined in prisons small,
Should not there too be legislation,
Instead those that care, and there are many,
Protest the lack of true compassion,
Spy on those, if any,
Do not the laws on species ration?
Spy not on PETA my dear friends,
For lack of laws your bloody hands,
Best for them you make amends,
Far too long we heard your cants,
From rodeos to chicken coups,
Cruelty there’s plenty of,
The numbers far exceed your snoops,
Spy on them; get off your duff,
I think I know who you’re protecting,
Though much you might pretend,
No interest to our plea we are expecting,
The need for PETA bring to an end.©16/02/2012

It's a lot easier to persecute and ridicule the few trying to help than to actually change our cruel, greedy, insatiable ways. Sadly, most today would rather do nothing and not get involved, instead of helping.
It's a sad, sad world my friend, and it's getting sadder every day. I just posted an article about wolf slaughter in Canada - for oil.
