I see tiny electrical impusles running along the very fiber of the cerebral cortex, just beneath the cowlick. My how outer space resembles inner space.
The title captivated me...you see I have one of those pesky cowlicks and as a child it gave me fits, it did it's own thing! As a teen it gave me fits as hair style constantly changed...it didn't! As an adult, I gave up....let it grow, relax, and realized that there are much more pressing things to worry about than my hair! My grandfather always said that cowlicks was a sign of intelligence or was it a sign of being stubborn...maybe both! Enjoyed this write my friend!

. .. .egads, how my hair goes so goes my 'make-up'; how i am made internally...a crux of different algorithms, colours, textures, and all messed up....indeed . ..
i could read into this personally end upon split.end and to infinty. .. but mostly, i wish i was more like my hair, and just didnt care. and i wish i could BE without trying, without complying to standards of the day [or night] .
and i try to wash the superficiality of the world off of me each day...
as i sit and wishfully wind my life.hair around my fingers? figuring in circles that i am too windblown, too tangled up in knots to be the proper woman i should be. .. .
*sigh*

No bad hair day here, Ted! I love when/if my hair complies with my mood in motion for the day... Mostly it is headstrong and self-willed, however much I lick it... but, when we flow in unison THEN I feel at ease from the tips of my toes to the ends of my roots... and THAT's a good feeling! Makes me want to reach for the L'Oreal bottle... You're worth it! :)) xx
"Under the Cowlicks" is engaging; we always try to present our best face (hair) forward, but those darn cows keep licking. LOL Trust me, I know! Enjoyed this one, Ted, well done.
It unites spiritual wisdom from the East and West to help readers experience Christ consciousness in the here and now. Combining the Oneness teachings of India with a fresh look at the New Testament.
