i jsut came from the mountains. .. .rocks are some of my favourite things and mountains are just huge rocks with even more huge hearts. .. .i dont know if one could find much more depth, much m.ore stilling of time than the mountains themselves, so quiet, so ancient.... and the mountains that you unveil for us through your words and these creatures of heaven. . .. must seem vastly unearthed and immovable, yet they sh[if]t and change and grow, so slowly, so nobly; we can barely sense it. . .. .
if only we could lea.r.n with them... .
being made of light and air and space. .. .
but hardly any time.

Ted, this photo reminds me of a mountain formed into a giant dragon breathing life into the souls of man. Mountains can distort one's images, especially at night, and cause us feel an eerie and uneasy feeling. This one kept me guessing.

Climbing mountains is so very good for you. When they come in droves, try to capture the moment and don't backslide and you will accomplish lots of loads.

Temporary is the operative word here.

Mountains have faces that make them look human,
while the erosion of our soul dehumanizes us.
An interesting use of "temporary" in your words
that makes me ponder.
