Cloud Burst The angels in heaven cry and it poured tears It was just a cloud burst I stood in the rain with tears running down my face watching your image fade away in the mist The heavens opened and rain poured forth The angels cried tears of joy I stood in the rain crying tears of sorrow watching you fade away leaving me I saw your beauty in the sun and a cloudy sky appeared, I cried washing away our love I stood in the rain knowing I�d never see your face again You�d become a shadow The angels in heaven cry and it poured tears It was just a cloud burst � CJ Clark All Rights Reserved

Wow, Dale...this piece has some punch, the reiteration of rain and tears, clouds and leaving, the 'I stood in the rain's', all kinda suck the air out of the reader, leaving a feeling of bereftness. Great write! :)
