Brilliant Bright Love is hot brilliant bright pain is white Love is sharp razor edged the pain is cut The ink runs smearing our hearts with the blood of loss Love is bleeding for the silhouettes They embrace the shadows of our reflections Love is the sun the pain is real stark and intense Brilliant bright is the red hot light Love warms the earth as we endure the pain of heart break We love at twilight the stars flashing the moon a white orb Cool and clean our pain is smothered divinely it surrenders Our pain is still running into the black ink A dark midnight and blood is burgundy we drink to one another Our love is stained smearing our hearts Brilliant bright is our pain we bleed in fright Our hearts beating we cry out as we orbit the cosmos A revolution of love captures the shadows Brilliant Bright � CJ Clark

This has contrast, highs and lows. There's something about how you do romance, my friend. You use color and motion. Description. You make the reader experience the moment. Savor it. Then it explodes, showering the reader with emotion.
Brilliant.
