The Fairies of Misty Glen
The verses so beautiful
as they whisper in the night
of the fairies of misty glen
The muse could sing them
as they played and danced
with a simple melody
The beauty to write
the pretty verses whispered
in the glen of mist and fog
Only tears to cry
the ink had run dry
voices had become silent
The kisses of delight
as the fairies danced
lovers in blissful romance
Only eyes to see
the passion you gave
and my life had changed
And I was blind
yet I heard the muse
speak verses so beautifully
The fairies of the night
cried dusty tears
when the ink went dry
The cosmic dust
lay at our feet
and we whispered of love
