Timeless Dreams

Dreamland where there isn’t any midnight
Dawn or dusk, where time has stopped
Day dreams, meditation clears the mind
and the hands of time are still

The shadows can’t be measured
long then short, they move with the wind

Nighttime, where slumber dreams
The stars and moon shadows are long
Time is non-existent, corridors appear
Doors and windows open and close

Astral travelers on a pendulum
around and back again, no end

Nightmares run across the sky
Black riders on horses of fury
Hooves of fire, manes of embers
and death is timeless as the grave

Sweat pours off your brow
awaken for your heart to beat

Love dreams are steamy
Passionate as beauty is youth
always in the romantic hearts
Timeless are two lovers entwined

Dreamland where there isn’t any day light
and silver is the night in shimmering trails

Timeless as dreams, unmeasured,
unbounded by the mind, spark the imaginings
Open a door and step into the realm
of an everlasting dreamland of slumber

Fantastic imagery here! "hooves of fire, manes of embers", wow! Another favorite line, "silver is the night in shimmering trails", oh beautiful, Dale. Reading you is like mining gold from these silver trails of dreams. Where does reality stop and the dream begin?
Only our shadow knows. Grand!

This really showed where dreams can go, from dark to light, and you really made it flow like a dream as well.

So much can be done within a dream :-) Had so many of them last night and all different kinds, including the nightmare. Thanks for this sharing.
