Snowflake

snowflakes floated by my window
I step outside
a snowflake fell upon one eye
it melted and a tear fell from the sky

snowflakes are pearls
pearls of wisdom from the heavens
and when I opened my eyes
two tear drops fall from the sky

I was crying pearls from my eyes
I saw all those pearls on the ground
they melted into puddles
and each puddle contains many poems

so you see a snowflake is a pearl
floating down from the sky
pearls of wisdom to light my eyes
a poem in every drop that falls

more poems than a poet could write
so you see why the pearls cry
and when I opened my eyes
two more drops fall from the sky

just as a snowflake is a poem
so is a ray of light
and the angels cry with joy
whether it be snowing, raining
or just another sunny day
I’ll write another poem to say...
