Mother Earth is Crying

The sad history of plight & plunder
in the name of greed
the soulless beasts
steal the life from the Mother
and those who serve her

The total disregard for nature
it's beauty destroyed
along with the creations
which live upon her
in harmony with her beauty

The harmony & beauty is in danger
The capitalists feed
upon the poor & needy
They lead us with lies
to the killing floor

They desire the souls
of good people
They use them as tools,
to feed their greed,
to live like kings

So peasants sweat & bleed,
as our Mother cries
for her beautiful creation,
which is pillaged and destroyed

Capitalism is the sword
It cuts and maims
It's lies are feeding us
The peasants are disheartened
They fear their God

Shameless shysters take all
with their greed,
stealing Mother Earth's beauty
leaving her barren & foraged,
her gifts forgotten

Wall Street is their lair,
where they have no care
for the land, the people,
living only for worldly things

We look to the Creator,
who is sad & weary
Oh!...how our Mother Earth cries
