Enchanted Blues

knocking at my window
sleepily dreaming
hear the humming, gentle muse
whispering this sweet tune
coming through
opening in colorful hues
a soft breeze blows
outside the slinky grass flows
whistling magically
where angles fly
winging a jazzy whimsy
singing lovely

blissful is that hopeful wish
tickling an emotional escape
where happiness is true
capturing sadness inside
locking it away with sorrow
singing to borrow
a glimpse of Eden
trumpeting enchanted blues

ah, that sweet, loving muse
whispering this gentle tune
sliding into your soul
joyfully aware
awaking our happy dreams
swinging the enchanted blues
