effortless idea if an idea is chopped into brevity what bits and pieces remain intact in the scheme of things long lines expound proving truth is illusive if an idea is hidden within doubt it should implore sense of self esteem to search for dignity worlds of words expounding verse discerning thought if an idea is exposed nakedly in the wind will it fly freely or fall inconclusive left only to circumstance doubt sneaks in to test virtue leaving ideas fragile asking for a little effort to pursue effortless idea one bold stroke paints expression turning feeling into idea effortless idea 6-11-09 D.E. Sometimes you let the words carry you. These can be powerful poems. But sometimes breaking down a poem to its basic parts can concentrate its meaning. I liken verse to seed. Lucky if it falls on fertile soil. I like this journey into the process of a poet's mind...
