Outside forces keep trying to get inside.

Outside surroundings want to get in my mind.

My life is yet moving forward

but not fast enough.

No time to stop.

Time waits on no one.

Outside forces are trying to take me out.

Fear, drive-by shootings and b & e's

Can you all just let me be?

My life is all I have.

Inside my mind I just want to live,

but the outside forces

Don't want to stop or give!

The bottom line yet races through my mind

Can I just live?

Yes! I am determinded to survive
