Vultures circle my body, waiting to dine.

A whispering childlike voice, residue from a childhood unlived,
Love refused, a limbo existence with no kindness to give.
Dreamy aqua eyes still fill with fairy dust,
A whimpering lost soul, that cannot trust.
A woman's body hides a frightened little girl, in distress,
Her jewels plundered, fertile crescent raped, passion left unharvested.
An alien to the planet earth,
A nomad, Thursday's Child, mourning " Far to go", from birth.
She was taught the Jabberwokey Language, nothing was as it seemed,
Her only control came in dreams.
Dreamscape, a land she could understand,
No explaination necessary and no love on demand.
Consciousness brings Vultures, demanding strips of flesh,
Each harvest pieces, leaving a bloody mess.
She screams in silence, her mouth utters no sound,
She doesn't let her agony show, it's better not to, she's found.
Glutted on blood and flesh, the Vultures fly away sated,
While new skin forms on her carcass, the Vultures are elated!
