This is part one of a two part write.

Remmy was my man, but had been beguiled,
He had left me for a Hoochie Mama and I was riled!
That Hoochie Mama, had fake hooters, nails and hair,
Take all that away and there aint nothin there!
Remmy had always been my sweet, lover man,
Alwasys had been sweet and so easy to understand.
Then be begin slippin round, so he'd hide and I'd seek,
This had been goin on for many a week.
While stalkin him, I found him with a gal named Trudy,
If I ever got her alone, I was gonna kick her booty!
I decided to seek help from the dark side,
To get Remmy back and keep my pride.
I heard tell, that in the La Foosh Bayou,
Lived a Voodoo Priestess that could conjure up a splell or two.
I went to the bank and took out some money,
I was gonna vist the priestess Jabu and get back my honey.
The path to La Foosh Bayou, scared me, making my knees shake,
But I was on a mission, for love's sake.
In a clearing, I found a run-down shack,
I knocked on the door, I wasn't about to go back.
The door opened and I bout peed my pants,
There stood a tall, big woman, casting an evil glance.
She hissed," What you want girl, why do you darken my door?"
" I need help gettin my man back", I did implore.
I showed Jubu my money and she started to grin,
She grabbed my hand and pulled me in.
Her filthy shack smelled of rotten flesh,
This was where good and evil did mesh.
Jubu asked," So yore man done runaway?"
" And with another Gal he wants to play?"
" Don't fret, just give Jubu yore dough",
" I will get rid of her and return yore beau!"
Jubu asked to see a picture of Remmy,
I had brought his latest one with me.
Jubu cackled," OOO Cher, dat man be the cat's meow!"
" He'd taste sweet upon my lips, and how!"
She pondered a minute and then gave me a wink,
Then she mixed a foul, smellin potion up in her sink.
Using Remmy's picture, she fashioned a doll that was his double,
As she immersed it into the potion. I knew Remmy was in trouble.
She handed me the doll and said," Cher, you must be bold!"
" This be yore man's remote control!"
" Whatever you want him to do",
" Do it to the doll and he must obey you!"
I took the doll and bid Jubu good-bye,
I just couldn't wait to find Remmy and give it a try!

SC,

Great story, does it have a part two? It would be great to find out what she did to Remmy.

Me too. Gotta have Part II. This is a cool story-poem, SC. I can feel it coming, though: she's gonna get what she wishes for when she uses that doll ...
