Do I have a door?
A gateway that I cross?
An invisible barrier made of steel
That leads from world to world?

I see the mist as it appears
And I slip inside its power
I stand in silence and I wait
For the magic to occur

How often does it happen?
And from where does it come?
This overwhelming hunger
A desire that knows no fear

The mist drifts from one world
And then sensuously pervades the next
The doorway becomes enshrouded
And then it disappears

My eyes are full of wonder
As I walk towards the scene
It winds around the mystic setting
And then it captures me

Hypnotic and seductive
It draws me ever near
Entrancing and bewitching me
Until I am allured

The breath of my muse caresses my ear
As his arms sweep around my waist
His hand lays my head against his chest
And the visions become more acute

His power overtakes me
As he casts his spell
The night passes slowly
While in his arms I'm tightly held

He awakens me with his gentle touch
And I remember where I've been
The dream altering images
Are still within my mind

Arm and arm he leads me to the gate
Moving us through the mist
He lifts his eyes to meet mine
And begs me with a kiss

"Come back to me when the day is done."
He whispers in the mist
"Then I'll make you mine once again
With the setting of the sun."
