A friend of mine is suffering and makes me recall
A place very scary where there is no hope at all
A place where death seems the only sanctuary
From a life that has left her exhausted and weary
I remember very well the depths of the pits of hell
Where life is unworthy of living and of hope this is none to tell
But I say to you who are in this mortal pain
Take your heart and sword in hand to make yourself sane
We are fighting a great battle for our immortal soul
For which God is the warrior and we must give up our control
The battle is long and the wounds are deep and sore
But we must keep on fighting and reopen the pain we have born
I see recovery as an ongoing fight for my life
With my Higher Power pulling me towards the everlasting light
We are never alone, you and I, who have fought so long and hard
For He is in control and He has not yet laid down our last card
Let me leave you, my friend, with this last thought
Hang on, strive onward, think of how hard you have already fought

No pit is so deep that the light you speak of cannot find it. And no Hell on earth is so permanent that hope and love cannot defeat it. Courage has many faces. One example must be yours.
A page-turning novel about a relationship between best friends that is interrupted because of betrayal , deceit, sexual promiscuity and pregnancy happens!
