Each experience good or bad enriches us.

Life Experience

I often heard people say: "let's do this or that to kill the time".
I couldn't fathom that human beings would deliberately want
To kill something as precious as time?
Everyone should know that past time killed will never return.
It is lost forever, and with it goes the possible experience
We could have had, had we been more careful and aware.
Let us enjoy each moment of our life, as much as we can!

The past is a part of our life experience
Which sometimes brings us more pleasure in the present,
As a memory, than when we actually lived it.
We tend to remember the past and dream up our future,
Rather than enjoying the present moment.

In its time, the past was a present
But we gave it no importance then...
We tend to  look at the present, only after it became the past.
The trials we face daily - are the present
We can feel each moment with its intensity.
At the moment, the loss of a loved one gives us a different sadness
Than the sadness we experience a few months later.

In order to understand an ending, one must know its beginning.
And each beginning is nothing but the continuation of another ending.
There are endings of episodes; there are endings of movies,
Endings of eras; endings of days, of weeks, of months, of years -
But we will never know an absolute ending.
Therefore, an ending is only a prelude for a new beginning

So very true, Emile. Thank you for the reminder. Love and peace,

Life Experience?
Time, the first created suicidal entity, dying nanoseconds by nanoseconds and doing the burial at an eternal graveyard named The Past.

Emile,
Yes, we should embrace the moment and cherish it for it shall never come again. We take so much for granted in this life, Emile. Your poem is BEAUTIFUL.

Blessings,
~Linda
