Disclaimer: This verse – portraying a prime minister - is about a fictional hero.

Any resemblance to any public figure dead or alive is purely coincidental.

Honestly!

Mr Twister the great Prime Minister

Is a perfect man a true achiever.

He’s trustworthy, straight, a man of action;

A friend in need he would not abandon.

Always thoughtful, always perfectly just,

He does what is right, he does what he must.

He is a man of peace everyone knows that;

No one can say he is an autocrat.

Every act of his fully justified,

None can accuse him that he ever lied.

Nothing he does is ever sinister,

He’s “The Perfection” as Prime Minister.

His admirers believe he should be crowned,

We should be grateful to have him around.

Bygone times he’d been swashbuckling hero,

Playing his fiddle not unlike Nero.

With big honest smile on his face aglow,

He should have been sainted long time ago.

Challenged by Press? His words impress and woo;

He’s unflappable and quite laid back too.

He gets tired though with all the miles he flies,

So he reclines… and lies… and lies… and lies…

Statement to MI5, MI6, CIA and all other Intelligence Services… and oh yes!

The PR Machine (just in case they perceive any resemblance):

Honi soit qui mal y pense. And incidentally, I am already dead and buried abroad.
