Incubus...2005

       Incubus 2005
 
I lay awake and think of you.
Your whispering words were smooth.
They overtook my senses.
 
You hovered over me.
Repeatedly you entered my soul.
I am with child, your child.
 
Little did I know I had no choice.
For some reason I trusted you.
You touched me and I felt icy cold.
 
You lie with me as I sleep.
I don’t see you as you really are.
I only see what is in my dreams.
 
You come to me again and again.
My health deteriorates with you in my life.
I say a prayer for you to go away.
 
You are a fallen angel.
You are my ex-lover.
YOU are INCUBUS!
