Moments intolerable Eyes embracing the floor Ripped of self esteem A martyr to an ideal Fleeing from unyielding realities Endless inconsolably searching Lost within dreams No longer concealing Gross atrocities past Unforgiving, unfeeling No longer hoping Groping, truth elusive Reflections distant and strange Fearful of tomorrow or now Maybe both or neither Driven without direction No longer me Or maybe more so copyright � Michael R.
