This is a fun poem- I am not looking for any serious critiques, it is just something I felt like writing as I went to a FANTASTIC country show tonight where the headliner was Trace Adkins-so just a bit of fun, not a real serious poem.

Poem Artwork

a country september moon floated in the air

a fog across its old white face and clouds of long white hair

tree branches like some eerie things from an old film

stuck out like fingers there

oh it was a full moon night

it was a glorious sight

to hear the guitars playing

to see the people swaying

oh it was a full moon night

how could it get any better with Trace up on the stage

his deep voice and moves so fine

I found out why women swoon

I used to think they were crazy

but, nah, I bet it was full moon

oh, it was a full moon night

it was a glorious sight

to hear the guitars playing

to see the people swaying

oh, it was a full moon night

damn, he has got to be

the perfect specimen of what a man should be

those thighs, those eyes, those pecs and lips,

Lord, how can you make one so hard to resist,

if only i could have an hour with that,

I swear I'd never ask for a thing again

well, maybe at least till Toby came to town!

It was a full moon night

and everything was ALL-RIGHT

I loved that guitar playing

I was one  who was swaying

to the alright so tight full moon night
