In executive tendrils
Your tentacles tied Justice
And strangled Freedom so-

You think we do not know?
Let my people go!
Plastic Religion!
Your hypocrisy blinds,
Deceive my countrymen
With your lifeless images
Empty rites and traditions,
Falsehood in robes!
Evil's gone so low-
Let my people go!
Your chains have bled
Our wrists, our lips
But this pen writes
They will not die
In silence cowered
Nor fear cold bars
Of prison's walls-
My ink will flow
