written after space shuttle Colubmia crashed Seven stars falling from the sky. I could hear lonely eagle cry blue day Columbia never made it home. Mourning song, slow, hauntingly clear. Wings clipped, balding eagle did fear similar fate, weight of freedom�s sacrifice. Seven souls sound hope from on high. We commemorate ties that bind here on earth, remember those severed too soon. Call to endeavor on, explore echoes and sacred harmonies spill down like heaven�s hope, healing hearts on earth.

i went outside immediately after it had exploded...i live in north texas. there was a contrail in the sky, but it didn't look "normal." that's when someone told me what had happened...i mourn their loss. beautifully written tribute to 7 angels.
