This tears at the soul, Dawn. I could feel her drowning in her fear. The format of this adds to the spinning emotions she is experiencing. Most excellent writing!

i felt this young girl's pain and embarrassment--vividly and powerfully captured in as few words as possible--the format begs the reader to drown in your words and come away, gasping for air--BRAVA! a most stunning, disturbing write (rings with authenticity--it seems you were that 13 year old girl).

This is traumatic for anyone let alone a 13 year old! Our society is so uncivilized when it comes to relationships. We never teach therefore we don't learn the way it should be. This same story could be told by untold thousands of thirteen year olds, and that is the sad blight on our culture! We never learn! I'm glad you have risen above this Dawn!thanks for sharing it!Blessings to you!

Thirteen is so young, yet such an impressionable age, for something this tragic to happen to. The mind has to then develop around the hate and anger.
