Double Agent

Double agent

In the duel between
darkness and light,
I have noticed that
somehow I am
on the wrong side.

I shrug it off as
going undercover
for God.

Hope for tomorrow’s
reform is tempered
by unease that today
may see the loan on my
borrowed molecules
called in.
