Hidden...somewhere in time...i live inside the fondest of memories...memories of my travels...my stays...acquaintances...my friends...my heart...voracious...always...for new times...new meanings...new differences.
Finding balance at the tip of a pointed granite slab...above the deepest canyon of belief...and sometime leaping...the fool on the card...the zero of...the tarot...essence of the deck... motley...carefree...careful...careless...nothing more...nothing less. A trump to be shuffled and tossed...read and misread...only to find happiness beyond the sconce of desperate eyes...closed...always open...eternal...internal vision...manification of the soul...forever mine. Light in darkness...path illuminate...lead me...desire of my heart...no matter how...always seeking truth.
And so...i remove my eyeglass...to wipe a small tear from my eye...a knowing tear...release a tear of forever...lasting...like the finest work of ones paint on canvas...in a museum of my heart...hidden...open for all to view...tears...concrete puddles...perhaps a mirage on life's highways...a mere reflection of thirst for the soul.
When your heart becomes a museum it is time to throw the old pencils and take new ones, with fresh words inside, and when you are at it you can bolt shut that door leading to the labyrinthian corridors of the past and open the window of future happenings, smiles and once or twice a skinned knee...again.
