Ever had one like this? BUMMER!!

Poem Artwork

Le Boss

It started out like every other day

Hit the snooze

Pulled the covers over my head

Finally got my butt out of bed

Another day in the land of mayhem

Still, the crisp morning air sparked a never-ending thought

Perhaps, just maybe, today would be different

Le boss wouldn’t be afflicted with supervisory impairment

Wrong. Her management style is "divide and conquer"

Impugn a person’s integrity

Give credit where it is not due

She really knows how to put it to you

In a different time

She would be called Simply Obnoxious Betty

SOB, for short

Before I get really silly, this poem I’d best abort

I know this woman, and Betty is all of the above and more.... It truly seems like it would hurt, to be such a nasty Betty. Thank you for the smiles. Warmth and Love to you, Carin'

I've had far too many SOB bosses, and in their case SOB didn't mean 'Simply Obnoxious Betty!'

Since a minister's bosses are the members of the church, I've had some bosses like that. I thank God that the majority of my bosses have been the greatest.

Oh, I've had plenty of bosses like this one. Believe me. In a way, soooo glad I'm not working any more ... can be my own boss (and stay in bed all day if I want to). :) Well penned, Kathy. Stay strong -

I've had a few of those type of bosses, but on the other hand, I've had some great bosses, too. So it all works out. Well done, Kathy; brava!
