Each day awakens with promise My loving heart awash in joy Though honestly I am remiss Not to mention my Ego’s toy While I strive to offer loving praise As I walk my challenging path My Ego’s toy finds many ways To impart its misplaced wrath My Ego siezes each moment When I find my guard is down To move its toy ahead hell-bent On tarnishing the Master’s crown It relishes each pained mistake To act on its devious ploy There is no higher cost at stake Ashamed, I am my Ego’s toy.

I think in this world we will never get around it so we must grin and bear it and try to keep up the good fight as much as we can...and not to lose hope..
