our granddaughter was born yesterday, and we are delighted to welcome her…her mother is a PHD in Sociology
(which is the research and analysis of trends within society, she is scientifically driven) this piece is woven with the questioning nature of life and existence as a blend of scientific thought pattern and my own poetry of spirit…

Poem Artwork

embedded within each subconscious
the master plan
the primary purpose
to procreate and multiply

the plan fuels everything
from strategic planning to
the ruse of deception
even mother nature is obliged

and what of the souls of these
newborn lives

did they anxiously await
their turn at arrival
did they plan ahead
the structure of their earthly experience
choosing carefully parents and
destination of existence

or are they slaves
demanded and procreated
into the hemisphere
where their energy fuel
is gleaned by an already
out of control population

more to work and feed
the system

the evolution expands
with new minds, new inspiration,
technology, and imagination

without them the human race
ceases to evolve, without them
the human race eventually dies
into extinction

we question what we’ve built for them
we question what resources we have left
and ask ourselves if they are the solution
or only the inheritors of the mess

Dear Debby, Thank you for sharing your thoughts. Birth into this existence is a stage within a much larger circuit of which we cannot comprehend the extent whitout the help of the spirit which procreates this enormous system. We have first to emerge into the world of the spirit which is not of the domain of sociology, nor of any science, for that matter. Let us first feel and understand the power of love which streams constantly in the universe and can open doors unknown to us. Love to all of you Emile

I wrote a poem about a newborn entitled Sheer Brilliance. With new life I'm sure comes fresh hope, energy and the ability to build upon what already exists with innovation and creativity. All of human potential lies within the nascent mind, heart, body and soul of this new child. My love and congratulations to you and your family on the arrival of this beautiful gift. K xx

An interesting intriguing composition... "multiply" sings to learn.

The kids of this season are the spring of our future, because they will know our history, will learn from our mistakes, and will build their lives wisely.

Congratulations!

Debby,

Excellent thoughts here. I'd like to say, I believe each generation questions their offspring's future. What we see as a mess today, is nothing compared to what human's endured hundreds of years ago. Look at it this way, WWII led to the death of 55 million people and yet here we are, still building, still dreaming, still hurling around the Sun. Cheer up. Your granddaughter will do just fine.

Congratulations. Celebrate her life and your genetic immortality.

National Children's Day in Brazil today - little ones were here today, one particularly, as bright as a button, full of love, fun and inquiry, and surrounded by such ---> and on we go! Happy grandparent day to Debby, To Life! xx

I'm optimistic that they will lead better lives. My grandparents were free to chose their path, but ended up wage slaves after many failed businesses and much deprivation during the Great Depression and WW II.

Today's global communication loads our senses with the worst instantly. We haven't learned to put things in perspective yet.

Better times will come. [If we can get a handle on world population]

Earth-centric Humanity at the Crossroads by Martin Treon

For the reasons I describe in this book, the world-wide suffering, death and extinction of humanity is very likely to occur, unless nonviolent and democratically determined radical and revolutionary personal and societal actions and changes are taken
