I find it ridiculous that people would quickly turn their backs on Will Smith after all the good things he has done to inspire the children and the movie industry.
I think he is at a difficult time, and I wish more of his friends would come forward to defend him rather than bash him. I am appalled at how many have turned their backs on him! I'll have to ask... Just what kind of friends are they?

How many white pedophile directors and actors/actresses had behaved in the worst possible way and were still welcome to walk the dirty carpet of the Oscar? But as soon as a black man did something out of the ordinary everyone jumped on him as though he has done the worst possible thing on earth!
I agree. Will has done wrong! But I don't think he deserves the scrutiny from everyone. It was an emotional moment for him, knowing that his wife, Jada had once had an affair with Chris Rock, and against his better judgment, he acted in an emotional manner. We must ask ourselves a question: Haven't we all done something wrong in our lives and regretted it later? The answer is... We've all been there emotionally at one time or another. I am mad at the ones who call themselves friends who would suddenly turn their backs on him. To err is human, and Will IS a human being after all. He should be forgiven and move on, but to call for punishment on him rather than to help him be emotionally stabled his friends and the movie industry have failed him.
His wife Jada lacks love and compassion for her husband, she had an affair with Chris Rock once in her life, so to say that Chris did not know about her illness was a lie. Chris should be the one who should apologize for his tasteless joke. He should feel guilty for ruining Will's life, and Jada should be ashamed of herself for her betrayal of her husband whose intention was there to protect her.
I deeply respect masculinity. We need it in our world, God is the one who provided it, but we also need to be mature enough to handle things in a proper way so as no to give reasons to try to cancel it.

Next time when someone insults a woman, the husband would think twice before he does anything to protect her. Then, more and more, and later it would become normal that women can be insulted and the husbands would think it is okay for them to be insulted. It's a slow process of brainwashing. Women's place in society is gradually taken away. The proudest function is being a mother has already been taken away as the brainwashed women can't wait to say "I'm a woman, but I don't want babies, I will abort it and am proud that I have done it!" In my opinion, feminists need to think twice about women's place in society.
Years ago, a woman stayed home to be a mother and grandmother. The men went out to work and brought home the bacon, but it was up to the mothers and grandmothers to make the bacon into dinner and cooked up a storm to feed the family. She also made the house a home for everyone. Don't call me old fashion, but that is a woman's function which the men could not live without. That was a woman's function in society. The function of men in those old days was being providers and protectors for their wives and their families.
But now, modern women aren't viewed as important as those in the old days anymore. Modern society does not respect women as in the old days. Sad indeed! But that's just my opinion.

Masculinity is not in danger. But bad behavior, especially among people of fame, should not be given another level of immunity. Like the former president claiming that women like to be groped and completely getting away with it because he was such a wonderful model of masculinity--not!
We all have an opinion and we all have a voice. However, we are NEVER cancelled by the one who MATTERS THE MOST - OUR MAKER! When we finally go to meet our maker we will have to answer to this foolishness. AMEN!
