Like clouds that wander in no fixed direction,
I float where the wind blows.
Just going with the flow
where the wind blows.
North, south...
never was there a doubt.
East, west...
where I once thought was best.
It rains...
whenever I absorbed enough darkness.
Raindrops pour like water,
hitting on the rooftops.
Listen to its sound and rhythm now...
The beats are strong like distant drums.
I hear them so well.
It's loud!
Watch the rain now...
Do you see the drops splattering on the ground?
They’re all scattering everywhere.
Splot, splot!
When will the sun shine once again?
When will the moon hold its magic once again?
When will happiness return once again?
When will our lost loved ones be found once again?
Ah!... Moon Goddess!...
Have you fulfilled the promises you have made yet?
You are still holding on to those keys
to unlock all the answers, aren't you?
GREAT WORK, SANDIE! YOU'VE TOUCHED ON A PLACE TO WHICH WE ALL CAN RELATE, FOR IN EACH LIFE THERE COMES A TIME WHEN WE HAVE NO FIXED DIRECTION...WHERE WE ARE JUST WAITING. THANKS FOR SHARING, MY FRIEND. LOVE, BLESSINGS AND FAITH...HIS INSPIRATIONS
Lovely poetry with which I totally relate. Sun, moon, rain, wind, stars, and so much of life around me/us I am intimate with. Thank you for sharing, Sandie.
When the sky clears and the moon comes out again, you will be able to find your way better.
This wonderful poem of melancholy follows closely recent events. But like the rain, they will eventually be solved and you can return to yourself again.
I'm sorry to learn what has happened to your brother. My condolences and prayers to you and your family. I like how this poem ends with a more cheerful note. Take care and feel better soon, Sandie!
