Today I called you boss...

Hello, it's nice to see you again,
It's been such a long time. I know you've made it big. I'm very happy for you.

I hope your life is not just about being a leader, that would be so sad.
So I must ask you a few things I need to know:

Do you remember when we talked and laughed and sometimes even cried?

Do you remember when I held your hand
when your life as a new Dad was to begin?

And do you remember now, my friend, the first time you became the leader of others, you were scared, nervous, but kept your cool.

When others weren't looking, you whispered to me, "I need your help!" I taught you things that you would have to know.

But the hurt I felt today when you told me to call you "Mr." was too much to bear. I hid the hurt and tears in my eys. You will never know.

Life changes, friendships begin, freindships end..
