Sitting outside my front door, a tiny kitten,
wanting to come in out of the heat.  The
most adorable thing, how did I know how
many more there would be.   
A friend said to me, I have two baby kittens I
cannot keep.  Please do me a favor and
take them for me?  Three little kittens,
what a joy!

But all little kittens don’t have a happy home,
 when I saw a Mama and her babies outside all alone. 
The poor things were hungry and thirsty and had no home.
On the back of our house is a screened in porch,
where I gave them shelter, something to drink and eat.
Five outside, three inside, but eight was not
enough.  When we tried to get Mama fixed
it didn’t take, and four more kittens on the porch!

Okay, that’s enough, just can’t take anymore
That’s when someone left three kittens
on our back door.   We didn’t know what to do
with them, so guess what, brand new kittens
again!

Fourteen felines in our home do live and I’m
sure if more came, we’d do it again!
