A tiny fur ball a brand new life, hard to believe her
beginning was with so much strife.
For her Mama had three kittens, the poor things died,
Except for this little waif, somehow stayed alive.
Mama protected her and would let no one near,
With what she went through, you can imagine her fear.
For the longest time we never saw her around,
But she was there, with the loudest meow
The cutest little kitten now, she loves to run and jump,
She was afraid of everyone at first, but everyone
showed her love.
She doesn't know how much joy she gives or what a miracle
she is. And whenever I look at the pretty face, I know,
of a little kitten that somehow turned a terrible sorrow
into a beautiful Rainbow.

She was afraid of everyone at first, but everyone
showed her love.
So many of them need more love today, and Kudos to you for giving Rainbow yours.
PS: You might get a chuckle from my poem yesterday about one of our once homeless cats: A Cat and His Canines.
Be always safe,
