a poem of illusive question
or a questionable poem of illusion

Emptiness Carved

Ecliptic measures

dancing upon vortex dreams

Quicken slumbering destiny

Wielding confluent streams

~

Poured into a well of darkness

the potage of existence quietly rises

forlorn for masking trespass

where no logic has values prices

~

A lock of destitution

paves in sinister debts

unvanquished within silence

wombs are buried depths

~

Hexed by crystal mirrors

illusions trail scopes to see

emptiness carved by inscriptions

binding esurience of time unforeseen…

~

perception and truth are often arch rivals in the game of life -- perceptions we may mold into those things we desire -- the truth on the other hand is blatantly unmoddable -- an intriguing poem -- it warrants thought to enjoy -- peace and love my friend -- Jon Michael

Oh what a wonderful photograph, darling bird. The difference between what is and what we want it to be, beautiful writing...

Be always safe,

The ebb and flow of life--between what is perceived and what is "real" streams from your pen, Vicki. And what does the bird perched on the wooden frame perceive? A sense of safety, security? Or maybe the idea that he "perceives" at all is the caveat.

I love to daydream about things that might be; and if emptiness and disappointment is all that comes of it, I simply move on to another dream.

But amid all this emotional activity, Dear Victoria, you remain my steadfast "Girl of my dreams." Oftentimes I don't quite understand where your words and phrases take me even while I love the journey.

With love and admiration,
Richard
