How could I have let myself end up here
Was it really worth it
The pain and anguish I have caused
I hear there footsteps
I can hear them laughing
I can hear the chains rattle as they walk

I guess its time to go for the walk
I had many plans for my future
I guess my victim of hate did too
Moments of weakness turn into an eternity of torture
As you walk in the shadow of the valley of death I hear him say

Your almost there they whisper
I wonder who will be there to see me die
Mom and Dad are sure to be
Wondering if there to blame
I wish I could tell them its not there fault
That I ruined my life and someone else's

Have a seat they say and strap me in
Where possibly could I go
Who are all these people
I have never seen so much hate
Am I really that bad
I just made one mistake
Mom, Dad why haven't you come
You were there when I came in this world
Don't you want to see me leave it

Any last words they ask
Yeah I have a few
I'm sorry for what I've done
If taking my life will make you feel better
Than go ahead get it over with
Maybe I do deserve to die
Who was I to take a life
Who are you to take mine
God will be the one who will judge me
My last walk could have been avoided
I should have walked away
Oh well to late now
Its time to pay my debt to society, for my sins against him
As I walk in the valley of the shadow of death
