Open skies Souls that fly Beyond the horizon Infinitely wise Open skies spread wide above High and adorned by Blue and red and purple highlights A cloud-strewn expanse Jeweled and bedecked Stretching endless embracing plateaus Coveting mesas and rocky promontories Guarded by lonely Spirits of the Wind Sun and Rain old beyond Knowledge Wise beyond Reason Open skies Souls that fly Beyond the horizon Infinitely wise Spirit Guides warn across The electromagnetic gulf Shades of ectoplasmic imagination Vying for our attention Extra-dimensional vortices yawn Drawing life inexorably closer to Transformation of the Soul Time moves faster Harkening toward disaster Things must get worse Before they get better The tendency toward Entropy being Omniversal Law Open skies Souls that fly Beyond the horizon Infinitely wise Gaia groans Her agony biologically magnified Stagnant desires whet the appetite Of Demonic forces Imps cavort recklessly in Infinite Caverns of the Damned While their minions above Seek satisfaction of the flesh Tested by blood and pain Saints sing Psalms of Salvation Soothing Souls of Light Who bask in the glory of Righteousness sacrificed in His name�s sake Open skies Souls that fly Beyond the horizon Infinitely wise

Wise beyond reason...

If any line caught me with tightest embrace, perhaps it is this one, for there is a wisdom that goes far beyond reason, and as we live longer, we find ourselves going back, back, to find this inner voice, a part of ourselves and all of us and the universe, generations that have been and will come. No doubt that same voice that inspired this poem from you.
