When we first met, there was a chill in the air
not because of you, but because of me and
circumstances unbeknownst to you.

You took me and sat me down and spoke softly

You gave me a whisper of a kiss and a coat of
warmth and love.

You told me of a love so strong that it would melt
the hardest diamond, and that it was so fiery, that
no one or anything could every destroy it

The look in your eyes penetrated me and reached
unbearable proportions, and I was lost beyond all
reason

I knew at that very moment that life as I knew it
no longer was, but was replaced by this glorious
man with his heart open; offering it to me along
with a life filled with splendor

I live there now, with this strong fiery love, that
Has warmed me through and through with it’s
Renewing strength and devotion
