I’ve missed the weakness I feel when you touch me
and the sweet taste of my name as your
mouth conquers mine
I’ve missed breathing to the rhythm of your pulse
against my cheek and feeling the wet warmness that
slowly escapes from between my pouting lips
I’ve missed the long and easy sojourn you took in finding
your way to my banks where a tepid pool awaits you - I
can hear your song of desire calling me as my own cravings
echoes back the same tune
I’ve missed the way you’d lift me up and prepare me
for an entrance into your world of paradise to introduce
me to all of your incredible treasures
I’ve missed the way you kept me there to wear all of your
treasures until I had my fill and then showered me with more
I need you
I need the spin, the topsy-turvy lights that turn around in
my head as the brilliance stings my flesh and electrifies
me
I need to have you there pulling me back again and again
each time with an even harder need than mine
I need to hear ringing in my ears to the sounds of desperation
and cries from a dream as we’re falling through atmospheres of
fire, coldness and ice…then warmed while our mouths radiate
a glowing warmth throughout our bodies as we return – floating
and tightly clinging to each other
I need love
I need you
I need us
I need all these things – all of these things my love

This has got to be one of the all-time greats!! in romantic/erotic poetry.. here or anywhere! The style you've used is perfect for the mind pictures and the weaving of explosive, yet tender images you've written here.The ending collapsed me. It's amazing how glorious and moving poetry can be when we don't hold back. Just grogeous, Marilyn. katy.
