Its difference lies in its atmosphere and past history:
Its towers and spires thrust up high into the sky.
Tormented wails of unhappiness and love lost drifted by.
Haunted sounds from the remnants of a tortured old manse
stream out into the night like the teary end of tragic romance.
If you gaze at its broken and dirty windows, so black and devoid of light,
you will see the occasional glimmer of a candle or torch shine out in the night.
The beating rhythm of the distinct sound of painful sobbing
floats out into the air with a heart-wrenching throbbing.
What stories does this old house have to share?
What heartache and spirits are filled with heartbreaking care?
No one dares to visit this mansion in the day, nor do they care for the dark.
The property gives out a feeling of decay and terror, sharp and stark.
I am sure there are examples of this in each small town.
Flashes of light and a drifting spirit in a white gown.
What makes this house so different from all of the rest?
It isn’t because it is not lived in and there is no ownership quest.
No, its difference lies in its atmosphere and its past history:
murder, insanity and romance gone wrong lies in shrouded deep mystery.
It’s a house full of pain and the stain of life’s blood
are steeped into its stones and seeping out into its mud.
A place of horror and a site of endless despair.
No wonder no living person would desire to live there.
So, from night to night in its windows you will see…
things that no longer live, nor would they want that to be.
The pain of a lifetime that has long since ended…
live into an afterlife that hasn’t been transcended.
Lessons haven’t been learned nor are they being sought…
gives another reason why the house will never be sold or bought.
Tread carefully out into the deep part of the night.
Stay away from the mansion with the tiny points of light.
Stay away from the place that lies shrouded in the dark…
don’t stray inside or the visit will leave its mark.
Leave it alone for Time to take care of all that it owns
and soon its timbers will lie along with all of its skeletal bones.

Well written your writes amaze me they are beyond great
Hi stranger, you got me scared
I have worked in some of those
old, old, houses. 2 years ago I painted
the outside of a house built in the 1800's
I told the man living there I needed the
front door opened. He said, I haven't opened
this door in 25 0r 30 years. When he did open the front door there was this great gush of cold air go by me 99 miles an hour. The man said he never used his air-condition either. Great write M0on...........

I see old houses or abandoned memories and wonder who were they that have left this feeling og ghostly allure.
