How shall I tell you what I feel? Too many times, I just wanted to walk away Leave everything between us behind Yet each time I look for you inside my heart I always find you there Silent, timeless, boundless. Shall I stay here and wait? Sit still and watch the silhouettes Like a strange illuminated mannequin? Or should I change my point of view For subtle obscenities And other ugly scenes?
I am falling in love with you all over again Just like the first time Deep and strong and unwise I know I have to stop Not waver in the sudden surge of emotion Not falter in my will to resolve. Tonight, as I close my eyes I will not forget that I am sane I am whole and I am good. Your warmth will never leave me Like a sun that doesn't set Something that I will not try to understand In this lifetime or the next... My dreams will come and I will embrace them No matter how scared I am I will nurture them in my heart No one will get there and take my dreams away They will be mine forever and they will make me wise They will be my friends, my secret for as long as I live. My dreams will become the summit of my existence Then I will be in touch with myself again.
