"...We are one...for the moment; yet we remain forever apart." Ouch! Excellent explication Lori...I like the tender honesty in this piece. Your words move me, for I know too well the naked truth, the memories of the one. Kudos! wonderfully painted canvas of emotions.

What can I say? I love this poem because it is almost as if I had lived it somewhere in time. The same is said for souls that scrape somewhere in the zenith of perfection.
