*Aug.28, 2003.

I used to not care if I lived or died
for I had not wife or kids
and nothing to worry about otherwise.
I did not bat an eye
when jumping from airplane's bellies
or doing anything else risky.

Doing these things still doesn't bother me
at least not personally
but I know it would bother my wife
if I lost my life.

Once you have children it will bother you too. Then you will worry about their safety as well as yours. Fearful that you might not be there to help them get on in life.

Although I never had children, I just know this from my friends. I have seen the way they change.
