Today,
I heard an angel sing
in melodic harmony.
She sang about
that glorious day
when heaven came to earth,
and angels
sang in heavenly chorus-
welcoming His birth.
The song sent shimmers
through my mind
of another time and place…
the day when my
first-born was born
on a glorious day in May.
The angels
must have sung to her
as she came down to earth,
for heaven’s song
rings in her voice
when my sweet angel sings.
