Beautiful Butterfly Boy

In Memory...

You came to me

on wings of joy--

You were going to be

my baby boy!

You flittered into my life

& landed

for only a  moment--

My Flutter-by

Butterfly Boy…

Then rainclouds came

and took you away--

delivered you to the Lord.

But now and then

I sense again

the faint flutter

of butterfly wings--

carrying love,

            carrying hope,

bringing peace to my wounded soul…

Oh, my Beautiful Butterfly Boy--

my baby with angel’s wings

Great ethereal metaphor, Cryssa, that I can only echo in the words of those below. I suppose that you, like me, have seen a butterfly used as the metaphor for the resurrrection of Christ, altogether fitting in healing the spirit from such a wound.............Jerry

Yes he is with the Lord and that gives you hope even in sadness.
A loving, skillfully written memoir for your little angel.

One of such pain and heartache, an emptiness in the soul that nothing can quench, yet a spirited revival of hope and renewal that bring this full circle into loving arms...

Be always safe,

Sad, yet, a deep conviction behind the words.
Of course, that butterfly boy is doing it in Heavens.
