I love how you've brought out Haiti's colors in the poem-- the browns, golds, and more vibrant hues-- lovely. That last bit though, "you brought to life..." from there on, it really seeped in and I too felt an inner spring forming. Color-player. ;0) --Charlie

This poem has a special meaning for me tonight, Cryssa, having watched the Foyer de Sion video on the Piggy link. I can now see with insight the people and vision that light up your life. You are a real gift to each other and I am humbled by the ways you are making a difference to the unequal world we live in. I was moved to tears by the testimonies of the adopted children and was made to realise that we change the world by interacting with one person at a time, instead of being disempowered with the negative mindset that problems are so large that we can NEVER make a difference... YES WE CAN... YES YOU DO... Bless you. The Bible says "Give and it will be given TO YOU - good measure, pressed down, overflowing and poured into your lap"... Well, to me this poem speaks of just that. Those whose hearts are orientated towards adoption reap a double blessing... they both give AND receive. Thank you for the great beauty in your words... and in your heart. How wonderful that Petra's (and her children's) wait is now over... Kate xx
