Holy Cow! What a GAME!

I’m Leaving!
 
The Bronco’s were ahead by far the majority of the game.
Then everything on the field started going a little insane.
Fumbles, penalties and freaky things going on.
I can’t wait ‘til it’s over, and this football game is done.
 
My nerves are shot, my mind is too, I can not think at all.
Whoever thought this could affect me, just a tiny little ball.
This game is never going to end, now in overtime we go.
By the time this game is over, I’ll be numb from head to toe.
 
Oh wait a minute, our quarterback decides to throw for an extra point.
Holy cow our receiver caught it and I’m leaving this crazy joint.

I've had to leave the room watching several nail bitin' football games myself, and one time while I was in the hospital, I couldn't watch the Ohio State-Michigan State game because every time I would, my heart would speed up dramatically (was on a heart monitor at the time, also on oxygen); nursies wouldn't let me watch it, for fear I'd work myself into a frenzy!! LOL Cute write; I hope Denver won for your sake! :) (My team lost, N'Awlins, and tomorrow night Dallas plays the Eagles! YIKES! Hope Dallas plucks some eagle feathers tomorrow night!! LOL)

I have to go to Karen's son's Jon's football games at Steel High soon, just one at least. I am afraid he will get hurt. They sometimes do get badly injured. Of course, he has been playing on jr league and all, so what am I worried about. Good football write here Bonnie, The season has only just begun though.

LOL, and LOL!! I'm not crazy about football, but sometimes grin and bear it and watch it with my husband. That's fine, until they, "have to go to overtime!" Ugh.

Maybe before, during and after the game, instead of leaving the "joint", you should think about smoking one...sure makes the game more fun on this end...Ed
