Little Cupid’s in Love

Little Cupid lost his way one day when on a secret mission.

He couldn’t read the map he had so he decided to go fishin.

There he sat upon a rock trying to make sense of his map.

When a tiny little bird fell from a tree landing in Cupid’s lap.

With his fishing line thrown in the stream, he set his pole aside.

Cupid was tending to the little bird when he heard a gentle cry.

As he looked up saw her, the cutest little Cupie he had ever seen.

She had huge blue eyes & a lovely smile that glittered and gleamed.

His tiny little heart went pitter pat and then spurt and spit.

He was quite sure his heart had stopped until it finally quit.

But when he saw the lovely little Cupie coming closer to the river.

His little heart started beating faster & then gave a tiny quiver.

Is this what love feels like when it finally touches your heart?

For once he saw this beautiful Cupie he never wanted to part.

He did not require a single arrow to realize he loved her so.

For that day his lonely little heart began to unlock and grow.

Love can come when you least expect it & the secrets very clear.

Always keep your heart alert so it can spot love when it’s near.

Cupid discovered his soul mate that day beside a fishing stream.

And he will love her forever; she’s the answer to his dream.
